Rebecca Novick is a yoga teacher and writer based in the beautiful Medieval town of Parthenay, deep in the heart of the Gâtine in Western France. She spent 25 years studying Buddhism under the Tibetan master, Geshe Tsultim Gyeltsen, and moved to India in 2007 to work full time in the field of human rights in the exiled Tibetan community. While in India, she worked as Communications Director for an international Buddhist organization organizing Buddhist conferences. In 2015, she began exploring the path of Advaita Vedanta under various masters in Rishikesh where she trained under the renowned yoga teacher, Shri Surinder Singh. She has a Masters Degree in Buddhist Studies from University of Wales and has written and edited a number of books on Buddhism including Fundamentals of Tibetan Buddhism, Random House 2005.
